Welcome Parents & Students!

Hi! My name is Emily Williams and I am the 12th grade Learning Support teacher for the Minersville Area School District. I have served as the district's Transition Coordinator since 2014. For the past five years, I have been teaching 5th and 6th grade students who participate in The Schuylkill Achieve After-School Program, which takes place at our Elementary Center. I also served as the softball coach for the Minersville Area Junior High girls softball team from 2010 to 2012. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and a Special Education certification from Alvernia University in 2010. In 2014, I attained my Master's Degree in Urban Education from Alvernia University.

It is my goal to assist each and every one of my students in becoming responsible and independent adults who are prepared for life after high school. I fully support my students in whichever direction they choose to go, whether it be to attend college or trade school, enlisting in the military, or seeking full-time employment.
