My name is Mrs. Spotts, and I am happy to be working as your child’s speech-language pathologist/therapist (SLP) this year. 

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! I wanted to take this time to briefly introduce myself to you.  This is my fifth year as a Speech-Language Pathologist/Therapist and my fourth year at Minersville Area School District. I received both my Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Stroudsburg University. I have a passion for assisting children in gaining knowledge and confidence in communication and “finding their voice”.  In my therapy room, I enjoy using a variety of activities and strategies to encourage your child to communicate at his/her highest level, while still having fun!

I enjoy spending time with my 4 month old son outside with my two dogs and hanging out with friends and family.

I look forward to getting to know your child or seeing them again if I have had them in the past! Here’s to a great school year!
