* At the age of 35, I answered my 'Life Calling' to be an Elementary Teacher and show students just how awesome I believe learning is!

* I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Education from Kutztown University 

* I earned my Master's Degree in Education from Penn State Schuylkill Campus 

* Excitedly, this is my 25th  year of teaching here at Minersville Elementary Center

     -First eight years were teaching Kindergarten students 

     -Next eight years were teaching Third grade students 

     -And eight years so far teaching First grade students 

* My husband, Bob and I were married 47 years this summer and we have two adult children, Bob Jr. and Valerie. We also have a rescue mixed Maine Coon cat, named Bo.

* My favorite sports teams are the New York Yankees, and The Green Bay Packers.

 * Musically, I am an Elvis and Country Music fan!
