Hi, everyone!!!  I hope this message finds you well!  I have been busy trying to figure out this wonderful tool called "remote learning"!  Wow!  Thankfully I have some awesome colleagues who are helping me along the way.  Starting next Monday, March 30, I wil be posting a review and an enichment activity daily under the "HOMEWORK" tab on this website and on my Class Dojo site.  Please check it out daily.  Your little one has worked so hard this year and I just want to be sure he/she stays sharp as a tack!  I miss those little faces so much.......  Thank you and stay healthy!!!

Hello, 1E!  I have been having technical difficulties all week but I think the problem has been solved!  Please know I am thinking of my little friends and hoping they are happy and healthy.  I have been posting review ideas and awesome websites on Dojo, so please check it out!  Our district will begin giving lunches to any child 18 and under on Monday.  Hopefully you received the One Call notification.  Stay healthy and please read, read, read!!!!

Greetings!  My name is Gina Ryan and I am the 1E classroom teacher!  The 2019-2020 school year marks my 27th year teaching!  An interesting fact about me is that I have taught all grade levels from Kindergarten through 8th grade, except for 5th (maybe someday.....).  I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Education with a Focus on Reading and Literacy.  My goal as an educator is for every one of my students to be a successful, life-long learner.  Daily, I strive to make learning fun, challenging and exciting!  First grade is an amazing grade to teach because the children are eager to learn and there is never a dull minute!  The little ones certainly keep me on my toes and add such joy to my life!
