Hello and thank you for visiting my site!  

My name is Chelsea Eggler. I am a committed instructor in the area of health, wellness and physical education. My goal for any group of students is for them to leave my instruction having the knowledge and skills to generate healthy, lifelong decisions.  This would include physical activity, proper nutrition, weight management, healthy relationships, positive communication, healthy emotional relationships, decision making skills, and goal setting abilities.  Effectively educating communities and schools in a well-rounded health curriculum is only achieved by maintaining the same accountability to your own personal choices as I hold myself to the same healthy standards I encourage my classes to reach for.

I am a native born and raised in Willamsport, Pennsylvania.  I am a 2003 graduate of Loyalsock Township School District.  From there I continued onto IUP (Indiana University of Pennsylvania) where I pursued my undergraduate and graduate degrees in health and physical education with minors in dance education, choregraphy, and safety and driver's education.  I've been an educator at the Minersville Area School District since 2012.  I teach 7th, 8th, and 9th grade health education and 7th through 12th grade physical education. I'm a Pittsburgh fan (Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins), through and through, and bleed blue and white for PSU.  I love to hike and go fishing with my husband (and our Golden Mini Doodle, Steely) and spend time with our families on our weekends.
