Today we will be working on adding and subtracting fractions & mixed numbers! I have some reminders about this concept listed below. You can always go back and review the Khan Academy Videos & check your interactive notebooks. Today's assignment will be in Get More Math!
Remember when adding and subtracting fractions & mixed numbers:
1. Both fractions need to have a common denominator
2. If you multiply the denominator by a number (to get your common denominator) you also need to do the same to the numerator.
3. You only add or subtract your numerators (dragging your common denominator into your answer).
