Reading tests are based on the skills being worked on for each of the units. The skills are reviewed and checked upon throughout the entire year.
The tests are given at the end of the third week of that unit.
Word checks are every 2 weeks or so. If your child knows 70% of the words, they will receive the next word list. If they don’t know 70% of the words, they will keep the same words.
Remember that each child in the class is moving at their own pace. Your child may have different words than their classmates.

- April 3 & 24
- May 8 & 22
Writing assessments are given periodically throughout the year in the form of writing prompts.
Math tests are given at the end of each topic.

- Addition and Subtraction to 10

- Compose and Decompose Numbers 11 to 19
- Count Numbers to 100
- Analyze, Compare and Create Shapes
